Are Clay County schools good enough for your kids?

The advantages of going to school in Clay County include the small town atmosphere, small classroom sizes, individual teacher contact and avoids the issues with gangs in larger cities/schools.

But the question always get asked. Is the level of education recieved in the smaller schools on par with the 5A schools? Especially the AP Honors courses and higher level mathematics & science courses. Do the advantages outweigh the negatives? In my opinion this all comes down to the quality of teachers that our districts are able to hire.

What is the general opinion in Clay County concerning the quality of our schools? Are our kids able to compete at the college level academically after graduating from Clay County high schools? Is a student better prepared graduating from Henrietta as opposed to Petrolia?
